This year’s Star Trek convention is here. Trekkies rejoice! Carel Struycken was a cast member of the series and is also the eye behind the VR images. This year’s convention was celebrating 40th anniversary of the TV series created by Gene Roddenberry.

VR photography has been used in an increasing number of websites promoting blockbuster movies. Superman Returns website is the latest example, using virtual tours allows the viewer to step inside the photo to experience movie set of this super hero movie.
